Feed phosphates
Feed phosphates are feed additives (mineral feed) used in the absence of calcium, phosphorus, sodium, and nitrogen in animal diets. These include mono-, monodi-, dicalcium phosphate, disodium phosphate, monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate.
Aluminum fluoride
Aluminum trifluoride (AlF3) is the most in-demand fluorine-containing product (available in the form of crystalline powder). It is mainly used in the production of primary aluminum. In small quantities it is used in the manufacture of optical glasses, automotive engineering, construction, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
Materials for construction industry
By-products from sulphuric and phosphoric acid production are used as raw materials for the construction industry. We have engineering designs that allow the use of these materials in the production of construction materials.
Phosphogypsum and phosphate hemihydrate
A two-stage process of wet-process phosphoric acid allows to obtain gypsum, which can be successfully used for the production of gypsum binders or in the Portland cement production DH-HH Process.
We have developed and patented a method for gypsum stone production from newly obtained phosphate hemihydrate.
Anhydrite from sulphuric acid recycling
Anhydrite production method with the recycling of concentrated sulphuric acid allows to obtain anhydrite binder.
Fluoride sludge
During fluorine-containing wastewater disposal, fluoride sludge is obtained, which contains 60-65% CaF2 (on dry basis). This product is used in the production of Portland cement as a batch mineralizer.
Environmental Protection
Sustainable use of raw materials, no air pollution, elimination of emissions, effluents and industrial wastes have always been priorities for JSC NIUIF. Our developments allow us to use raw materials carefully and manufacture products with minimal risk to the environment.
What are we doing to achieve this?
- create environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies of phosphorus- and nitrogen-containing mineral fertilizers, phosphoric, sulphuric, fluorosilicic acids, industrial salts and mineral feeds;
- develop waste processing and recycling technologies for phosphogypsum, waste sulphuric acid, fluorosilicic acid, silica gel;
Examples of our developments:
Gas scrubbing
Under modern conditions of significant anthropogenic environmental impact, the search for the most efficient and cost-effective ways of scrubbing industrial emissions is more and more relevant. The need to reduce emissions of harmful substances with off-gases in mineral fertilizer manufacture is associated with increased attention to environmental issues and tightening of sanitary standards. Therefore, nowadays, work, aimed at the development of gas-scrubbing equipment is relevant and significant.
Gas scrubbing in mineral fertilizers and WPA manufacture is complicated by precipitation (silica gel), large dust content, as well as possible crystallization of the scrubbing liquid. All these factors impose certain requirements on the scrubbing equipment.
